a queer love story
a zoom poetry writing workshop for anyone who identifies as lgbtq+

sunday 14th february / 11:00 – 12:30 gmt / free entry (suggested donation of £3 – £5) 

i love valentines day, i love the tackiness of it, i love the pink & red heart aesthetic. what i don’t love is that it’s largely focused on cis/het relationships! love is a universal thing after all. i wanted to create a space where queer ppl can explore the notion of love in it’s most gloriously authentic form! whether that be platonic love, friendship, family, love of the self or good ole fashioned steamy & romantic, i wanted to provide a forum where all love is celebrated. this workshop is open to anyone who identifies as lgbtq+ & is being gifted completely free (although donations are very welcome) to keep it as open as possible. lockdown valentines day doesn’t have to be terrible, it can be tender & sweet & most of all, empowering. i hope to see you there! pls share with any friends who you think may like this. this workshop is appropriate for both beginners & seasoned writers.

also, there will be a live stream in the evening where i will do a few poems alongside some of my friends! free to tune into, i also want to include a writing prompt or two so it feels less like a passive experience and i MAY have a new glittery backdrop by then too & wouldn’t that just be wonderful. please do share these far & wide, not often i ask that but in this case i really want to open this out to the community!
